What to send ahead

  • Last year's business return, plus your personal one if the two are tied together
  • A recent payroll report, or last year's W-2 if payroll is not yours to pull
  • However tips get recorded now, whether that is a POS report, a pool sheet or a notebook
  • Whatever the books look like today, and read-only access to them is plenty
  • If one of these does not exist yet, come anyway and say so in the first minute
